Our founder and managing partner, Alma Chacon, Esq., is dual licensed in Venezuela and in the United States. Graduated as a Lawyer from the Central University of Venezuela, with the highest honor Summa Cum Laude, Alma, also counts with a PhD in Law, from the same University. Has a Master in Legal Argumentation from the University of Alicante.
In her native country, Venezuela, she developed her professional career as legal advisor in the public and private sector, as well as in the areas of teaching and research, specializing in legal theory and techniques, control of the constitutionality of laws, legal argumentation, access to justice and human rights.
Alma lived the experience of immigrating to the United States, having to face the challenges derived from the need to settle in another country. This fact was decisive to specialize in the intricate field of immigration, with the purpose of helping others legally live in America.
Our managing partner was admitted as an Attorney and Counselor at Law, by the Supreme Court of the State of New York (Third Judicial Department of the Appellate Division), and is a member in good standing of the New York Bar, being fully qualified to practice in immigration and nationality matters throughout all the territories of the United States.
Her empathy with the immigrant’s needs, her tenacity and commitment, allows her to design successful immigration strategies thus opening opportunities to numerous investors, entrepreneurs, families and individuals.
Alma Chacón is proud of her roots and her beloved hometown, Caracas.
